To make science education more accessible, TSMC Education and Culture Foundation has sponsored "The World of the Integrated Circuits" Exhibition Hall in National Museum of Natural Science (NMNS) since 1997.

Through more interactive presentation, the exhibition explains the basic ideas and development of the semiconductor Integrated Circuit technology. The visitors will experience the way semiconductor products utterly changed our daily lives. On weekends, TSMC Guide Volunteers, formed by TSMC employees, serve as guides for the exhibition. The Guide Volunteer Program has now been run for four years. In 2007, the program was expanded to involve employees of TSMC-affiliated companies, including Vanguard, VisEra, and Global Unichip.
