TSMC Education and Culture Foundation |

| TSMC is dedicated to becoming
the leading Taiwan corporate citizen and has been an active
sponsor of educational and cultural activities. In order to
further consolidate and organize our contributions, TSMC established
the TSMC Education and Culture Foundation (TSMC Foundation)
in 1998. In addition to continuing our long-term commitment to
education and culture, TSMC also launched a major energy saving and
environmental protection initiative as global warming becomes urgent.
In 2008, the TSMC Education and Culture Foundation invited major
corporations to initiate the Taiwan Corporate Sustainability Forum,
and initiated an "energy-saving volunteer" program for advancing advance
environmental awareness and build a framework for concrete actions.
Led by Chairman F. C. Tseng, the Foundation's

TSMC designs various programs
to focus on different aspects of education at different
age levels. At the college level, we target global
perspectives so that they can compete in global
economy. For secondary schools, our focus is to
develop students’ potential in both science
and humanity. At primary schools, our focus is on
the aesthetic education, with the goal to expose
children to arts as early as possible and bridge
the gap between rural and urban areas... |
